Bumi Cinta is an eco retreat center and sustainable venue on the north shore of Bali, in Les Village, Tejakula, Buleleng, North Bali, Indonesia. This notice explains what information we collect through bumicintabali.com, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and how to ask us to change or remove it. We keep it simple: we collect as little as we need to talk with you and plan your visit to North Bali.
In this notice, “we,” “us,” and “the retreat” mean Bumi Cinta, the North Bali eco retreat center described above. “The site” means bumicintabali.com and its subpages. Your use of the site is also covered by our terms of use.
What we collect
Enquiries. When you send an enquiry through our booking page or contact page, we receive your name, email address, what you are exploring (a stay, a retreat, or an event at the venue), the dates you have in mind, and anything you write in your message. We use this to reply, understand fit, and plan with you.
Community list. When you sign up with your email in the “Earth Lovers” form, we use that address to share occasional news about the land, gatherings, and openings, much of which also appears in our journal. Every message we send includes a way to opt out, and you can ask to be removed at any time.
Direct contact. If you write to us by email or WhatsApp, we receive what you choose to send. That conversation stays between you and our team.
Analytics and cookies. With your consent, we use basic web analytics to understand how the site is used: pages visited, approximate region, device type. This is aggregate traffic data. We do not build individual profiles and we do not sell data to anyone. Your consent choices are stored in your browser so we can remember them.
Technical logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses and request times) for security and reliability.
Who helps us process it
We use a small number of service providers to run this website: a hosting platform that serves the site, an email delivery service that forwards your enquiry to our inbox in Buleleng, and an embedded Google Map on some pages (which loads content from Google, subject to Google’s own privacy policy). These providers process data on our behalf and may store it on servers outside Indonesia or your home country.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we are talking with you or planning a visit, and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick the conversation back up. Community-list emails are kept until you opt out. If you would like anything deleted sooner, just ask.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can decline analytics and marketing cookies in the cookie banner without affecting how the site works. Depending on where you live, you may have additional legal rights over your personal data. We will honour reasonable requests regardless of where you are writing from.
Children
This website is intended for adults planning stays, retreats, and events at the retreat. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
